2 Impor tant Safety Inf ormation • Do not climb on the Bac kyard T reehouse™ until it has been proper ly assembled b y an adult. • Only fiv e children should use the Backyard T reehouse™ at one time. • The total w eight limit f or the Bac kyard T reehouse™ is 300 lbs.
3 Bef ore assembling this product, select and prepare a pla y area. Select a Play Area Select an area on le v el ground at least 6 f eet from any structure or obstr uction such as a f ence, garage , house, ov erhanging branches, w ashing lines or electr ical lines.

5 Assembl y • Stand the front trunk panel upright. • P osition the ladder panel so that the chalkboard is toward the saf e on the front trunk panel.
Incorrect Ta b l e To p Ladder P anel Correct Ta b l e To p Ladder P anel 6 • Mak e sure the area where the mailbox label will be applied is clean and dr y . • Bend the mailbo x label in half and remov e the backing. • Apply the mailbo x label to the mailbox door .
7 • P osition the back panel on a flat surf ace with the warning label f acing up . • Insert a shutter lower peg into the low er hinge hole on one side of the back panel. • Fit and snap the shutter upper peg into the upper hinge hole on the same side of the back panel.
8 • Insert and snap the hooked tabs and long tab on the platf orm into the panel assembl, as shown. Helpful Hint: Y ou ma y need the help of another person with this assembly step . • T ur n the panel assembly so that the ladder panel is la ying on a flat surf ace.
• Gr asp the wall panel with one hand and the treetop with the other hand. • Pull the w all panel tow ard the treetop while pushing the treetop tow ard the wall panel until the treetop snaps into place.
10 Long T ab Back P anel Roof Back P anel Long T ab Back P anel Assembl y • Firmly push down on the roof to inser t the long tab on the ladder panel into the slot in the roof . • Firmly push down on the roof to snap the tabs on the bac k panel into the slot in the roof .
11 Helpful Hint: There are two connecting areas to attach the ramp to the Bac kyard T reehouse™. Y ou can connect the ramp to either of these areas and s witch it whenev er y ou like! Y ou can also attach other Fisher-Pr ice ® outdoor pla y- sets to these two areas on the Bac kyard T reehouse™.
