9 7. Installation 1. The device can be used in hand held or hands -free mode and combin ed with va rious non- hand -held accessories. The camcorder can b e installed wh erever y ou like, even oper ation in the water by the waterp roof casing is possible.
10 8. Operating Instructions 1. Start up Turn the pow er switch to “ON” to start up the dev ice . 2. LCD segment screen icons: a) Record mode: The current re cord mode can be view ed on the top le.

13 5 . Set the date / time In preview mode, press “M” key to enter the menu interface , press “> ” key to shift to the setup interface “ ”, press “ + ” or “ - ” key to sele ct the menu “D ate/Time” , and then p ress “OK” key to enter the setup interface o f “Date/Time” .

At this time, the laser will be turned on wh en starting recording and it will b e turned of f when stopping recording.

17 f ) Format: After confir ming that a ll files recorded ar e not neede d to be save d, all files can be remove d by formatting. Note: If there is no card inserted , the memory of the unit will be for matted. After inserting a card, the system will format the c ard , but not the interna l memory unit.

19 c ) If the memory space gets full dur ing video recording , the syste m will save the current file and give the message “card is full” on the TFT di splay screen then and go back to the preview mode. The video recording dura tion on the LCD scre en also will stop displaying.
20 b ) Tr iple shot: Press “M ” key to ent er the camcorder se tup interface, press “>”or “<” key to move the cursor to “ ”, and then press “+”or “ - ” key to select the menu “Three Photos Continuou s Shooting”, and press “OK” key to confir m.
21 5. Voice recording Press “M” key to enter the Ca mcorder setting interfa ce, select “Ca pture M ode”, press “OK” key to enter the selection in terface, pre ss “<” or “>” key to sele ct “ ”, press “OK” key to con firm your se lection, and finally pre ss “M” key to ex it the setup inter face.
22 6. File play back You can directly view t he audio, vi deo and photo file s on the device . Press “ ” key to enter t he playback sele ction interface and pr ess it again to ex it . Select the vid eo file interfa ce “ ” to view video files, select pho to file interfa ce “ ” to view photos.
23 d) Audio playbac k: Enter “ ” interface and all files app ear on the s creen. Select the audio file by pressing “>” or “<” and press “OK” to play . You can use the follow ing function s. + Volume UP - Volume Down 1. Reset the play ing fro m the beginning.
24 8. Remote contro l You can use the remote con trol (optional availab le) to remote video recording, photo shooting and turn the laser function on/off. The red indicator on the remote control w ill twinkle once when you press any of the following keys.
25 9. Standby mode: T urn the pow er switch to “ON” to enter pre view mode . If there’s no opera tion within the sele cted standby time, the system w ill auto enter the standby powe r-saving mode . Pressing “Record” or “Shutter” key at the device or any key on the remote contro l can wak e up the dev ice again.
26 12. USB connection : a) When there is no battery inside of the device, use the USB pow er adapter (optiona l available ) to connect it to the device . All functions can be operated meanw hile. b ) In operating mode, use the prov ided USB cable to connect the dev ice to a computer.
27 g ) To turn off the key tone, press “ M” key in prev iew mode, then pres s “>” or “<” key to enter the “Setup”, press “+” or “ - ” key to select the menu “Key Tone”, and then y ou can t urn on or turn off the key tone.
28 11. File Storage and Playback 1. Storage Via the provided USB cable you can copy or move the re corded vid eo files to you r computer. Otherwise yo u can remove the M icro SD card and in sert it into a car d reade r. Then you can selec t softwar e like Media Player or VLC M edia Player to playba ck the vide os.
29 2. Play back You can use a M ini-HDMI cable or an AV cable (optional av ailable) t o connect the dev ice to a TV or monitor with HDM I or AV interface . Note: a) After conne cting the dev ice via M ini- HDMI cable, please select the HDMI input source of the T V.
