7 COO K TO P U SE Cooktop Controls The control knobs can be set to anyw here between HI and LO. Push in a nd turn to sett ing. On some mode ls, the su rface co oking area locator shows which element is tur ned on. Use the following chart as a gui de when settin g heat leve ls.

10 Cloc k Th is i s a 1 2-hour clock and does not show a.m. or p.m. To S e t : Before setting, make sure t he oven and Timer are off. 1. Press CLOC K. 2. Press the TEMP/TIME “up ” or “down” arrow pad to set th e time o f day . 3. Press ST ART/ENTE R or CLOCK.

12 Bak ew are The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendati on s and use t he bakeware size recommended in the recipe. Use the follow ing chart as a guide. Meat Thermometer On models wit h out a tempe rature pr obe, use a meat thermometer to determine d oneness of meat, poultry and fish.
13 Pr eh eati ng After ST ART/ENTER is pr essed, the oven will ent er a timed preheat conditi oning. “PrE” and the time countdown wi ll appear on the display . When the preheat condit ioning t ime ends, a tone will sound an d the selected temperatu r e will appea r on the displa y .
14 Timed Cooking Timed Cooking allows the oven to be set t o cook in 2 dif ferent ways. The oven can be set to start cooking immediatel y and shut off automatically at the end of the cooking ti m e. Or , the ov en can be set to start at a lat er time, cook for a sp ecified length of time and shut off automati cally at the end of the cooki n g time.
15 Prepare Cooktop and S torage Drawer: ■ Remove plast ic items from the cooktop because t h ey may melt. ■ Remove all items from the storage drawer . 16 Tiny scratches and abrasions ■ Cooktop Cleaner: Rub creme into surface wi th a damp paper towel or soft cloth. Co ntinue rubbing unt il white fil m disa ppears. Scratche s and abrasi on s do not affect cooking performan ce, and after many cleanin gs they will become les s n oticeab le.

18 T o Replace: 1. Lift up the back of th e drawer and p lace it in side the range in its fully forward posit i on. 2. Lift up the front of the draw er to a level position . 3. Slowly pu sh the drawer into th e range until the draw er side rails engage with the gap in the drawer glides.
