3 Getting Started Loading Paper Insert 4 × 6-inch E pson P remium Glossy Photo P aper short edge first and shiny side up. Flip the feeder guard forward. Insert paper against the right edge of the sheet feeder . Slide the left edge guide over. Flip the feeder guard back.
4 Placing Photos 1 Open the document cover and place a 4 × 6-inch photo face-d own on the glass, in the upper left corner . Tip: Y ou can also copy t wo 4 × 6-inc h ph otos at the same time. Place photos vertically about 0.4 inc h apart, e ven when cop ying landscape oriented photos.
5 Placing Film and Slides F irst, remo ve the document mat. Then follow the steps belo w: Placing Film 1 Open the film strip cover and slide the strip of film into the film holder . 2 Place the film holder on the glass as shown. 3 Close the document cover .
6 Placing Slides 1 Place the film holder on the glass as shown. 2 Place your slides in the film holder . 3 Close the document cover . Y ou ’ re ready to start a photo project.
7 Copying 4 × 6-inch Photos Before you begin, load paper and place your photo on the glass as described in “Getting S tarted” on page 3. 1 P ress the Film/Photo mode button. 2 If necessar y , press the l or r Photo/Options button to select Copy Photograph .
8 Making Photos From Slides and Negatives Before y ou begin, load paper , remo ve the document mat, and place your negatives or slides in the film holder as described in “Getting S tarted” on page 3.
9 Restoring Faded Color Photos, Slides, and Negatives If you hav e faded color photos, negatives, or slides, y our Epson S tylus CX7800 can bring them back to life using the color restoration feature. Before you begin, load paper and place your photo, negatives, or slides on the glass as described in “Getting S tarted” on page 3.
10 Printing Photos From a Memory Card Before y ou begin, load paper as desc ribed in “Getting Started” on page 3. 1 Open the memory card slot co ver . 2 Insert your memory card in the corr ect slot. The memory card light turns gr een when the card is inserted.
11 Y ou can use the following types of cards with your Epson S tylus CX7800: 3 Close the memor y card slot cover . 4 P ress the l or r Ph oto/Options button to view your photos and the u or d Copies button to select the number of copies to print. 5 P ress the paper type button to select Photo Paper and the paper size button to select 4”×6” .
