1 Product Overview Thank you for using the ENH200EXT . It is a p ower ful and enhanced, ent erprise - scale pr odu ct with 4 multi - functions : Access P oint , Cli ent Bridge, WDS , and Client R outer . EnG enius’ E NH200EXT uses the lat est wireless stan dard , 802.
c) The ability to access real - time info rmation Doctors and nurses, point - of - sale emplo yees, and wareh ouse work ers can access rea l - time information while dealing with patients, ser ving customers , and processing information.
1.2 Benef its Access P oint Mode Use this featur e to setu p the access point’ s conf iguration information. It sup port s tr ansmit power and c hannel adjustments . Client s can access the network with di fferent regul ator y settings and automati cally change to the local r egulations.
1.3 P ackage C ontents Open the p ackage car ef ul ly , and mak e sure that none o f the items listed bel ow ar e missing. Do not discar d the pac king mat erials ; in c ase o f return , the unit must be ship ped in it s or iginal packaging . (1) Wireless Access Poin t / Client Bridge ( ENH200EXT ) (1) 24 V/0.
1.6 Unders t anding the ENH200E X T LEDs The rear o f the ENH200 EXT has two gr oups o f LEDs. One group, labeled INDICA T ORS , shows the status o f the device. The second gr oup, LINK QUALITY , shows the strength o f the link between the ENH200 EXT and the network .
1.7 Hardware ins tallation diagram: 2 Wireless N etwork Modes 2.1 Access P oint M ode In the Access P oint Mode, the ENH200EXT function s li k e a centr al connection for any stations or client s that sup port the IEEE 802.
2.2 Access P oint with WDS Funct ion Mode The ENH200EXT also sup por t s WDS function ality while in A ccess P oint Mod e. Simply c onf igure other Access P oint s and the associ ated MA C addr esses to enlar ge the wir eless area by enabling WDS Link Set tings .
to scan all of the Access Point s w ithin range and conf igure its SSID and Security P asswor d to associate with it. Y ou can also connect you r s t a tion t o the L AN por t o f the ENH200EX T via Ethernet.
WDS Bridge Mode is unlike Access P oint Mode . APs linked by WDS are using the same wirel ess channel , and connecting excessive nu mbers o f APs on the same channel may result in lower throughput. Please be aware t o avoid loop connection s; other wise enabl e the Spanning T ree Function.
