6 Using y our card re ader Using y our card read er T o access a m edia card using Windows: 1 Inser t a card into the appropriate slot, as shown in “Card slot s and LE D” on pag e 7. Caut io n: Cards must be inser ted into the correct s lot and i n the corr ec t dir ection; otherwise, you may d amage th e car d or the slot.
Using your card reader 7 T o access a media c ard using Macintosh: 1 Inser t a card into the ap propria te slot, as shown in “Card slots and LED” on pag e 7. A new dis k icon will appear on the de skt op. Caution: C ard s must be inser ted into the corr ect slot and in the correct dir ection; other wise, you may damage the card or the slot.
8 Using y our card re ader SD/SDHC/mini SD/MMC/RS-MMC slot Insert S ecure Digital High Capacity (SDHC), S ecure Digital (SD), Mini SD, Multi Media (MMC), or RS-MMC cards into this slot. microSD/T -Flash/M2 slot Inser t microSD , T ransflash (T -Flash), or Memory Stick micro (M2 )cards into this slot.

Troub leshoot ing 13 T roubl eshooting If me mor y cards d o not ap pear in M y Computer or Windows Explorer (Windows operating sy stems) or on the desktop (Mac operating systems ), check the following: • Make sure the card reader is ful ly connected to your card reader .
