21 ECONOMI$ER IV ST ANDAR D SENSORS Outdoor Air T emperature ( OA T) Sensor — The outdoor air temperature sensor (HH57AC074) is a 10 to 20 mA device used to measure the outdoor -air temperature. The outdoor -air temperature is used to determine when the EconoMi $er IV can be used for free cooling.
22 Differen tial Dry Bulb Control — For differential dry bulb control the standard outdoor dry bulb s ensor is used in conjunc- tion with an additional accessory dry bul b sensor (part number CR TEMPSN002A00). The accessory sensor must be mounted in the return airstream.

24 Exhaust S et Point Adj ustment — The exhaust set point will determine when the e xhaust fan runs based on damper position (if accessory power exhaust is installed). The set point is modi- fied with the Exhaust F an Set Point (EXH SET ) potentiometer .
25 CO 2 sensor to the actuator when the CO 2 concent ration in the space is at 1 100 ppm. The DCV set point may be left at 2 volts since the CO 2 sensor voltage will be i gnored by the EconoMi$er IV controller until it rises above the 3.6 volt set- ting of the minimum position potentiometer .

44 PRE-ST ART -UP Proceed as follows to inspect and prepa re the unit for initial start-up: 1. Remove all acces s panels. 2. Read and follow instructions on all W ARNING , CAU- TION, and INFORM A TIO N labels attached t o or shipped with unit. 3. Make the following inspections: a.
45 Heating — T o start the unit, turn on the main pow er supply . Set the thermostat at HEA T position at a setting above room temperature, the fan at AU TO position. The first stage of the thermostat energizes the indoor -fan motor , compressor , and out door fan; the second stage energizes electric heater el ements, if i nstalled.
