30 SETTING UP THE PROJECTOR Setting Up the Pr ojector Determining the Distance to the Screen The projected image size is determ ined by the distance between the projector lens and the screen. Select the place where the desired image size is obtained according to the illustra- tion shown below .

35 PROJECTING AN IMAGE FROM THE COMPUTER z Before connecting cables, turn off both the projector and computer . z It may project an image inappropriately when projecting the digital PC signal in 1280 x 1024 or 1400 x 1050 depending on the type of c omputer or DVI cable (SX7/SX6/SX 60).

37 PROJECTING AN IMAGE FROM THE COMPUTER Connecting to A UDIO IN T ermi- nals (SX6/SX60) Connect the au dio cable to the AUDIO IN terminal if you want to use the projectors speaker . z Use an audio cable without a built-in resistor . Using an audio cable with a built-in resistor turns down the sound.
38 PROJECTING AN IMAGE FROM THE COMPUTER Starting Projection Connect the power cord and turn on the projector to start the projection. 1 Connect the power cord. Fully insert the power cor d plug into the socket. The [POWER] indicator flashes red. 2 Press the [POWER] b u tton.
39 PROJECTING AN IMAGE FROM THE COMPUTER The countdown window is displayed for appr oximately 20 seconds, and then the guid- ing message for the auto setup function appears. Adjust the focus by per forming the auto se tup or the focus adjustment if you cann ot read the message due to out of focus.

Follow the steps below if the function does not adju st the distortion appropriately or you want to adjust the keystone distor tion in a horizontal direction.
