INTRODUCTION 1.1 AirStation 54Mbps Compact Repeater Br idge (WL A2-G54) 1 This User Manual intr oduces you to the High-Speed AirStation 54Mbps Compact Repeater Bridge and will assist y ou with the mor e advanced featur es of the product.

USING AIRST A TION FOR AD V ANCED CO NFIGURA TIONS Although your AirStation will function fine using only the settings fr om Section 3, you ma y wish to explor e more advanced op- tions. This chapter explains each parameter in the Advanced button. Click the T op tab and click the Adva nced button.

4. 1 .4 Wir eless LAN Computer Lim i ta tion This option limits the PCs allow ed a wireless connection to the AirStation. It is used to control the wir eless connections to the AirStation. Wir eless PC’ s Connection - Select Limit to restrict the connection and Do not Limit for open access.
4.2 Networ k Setting 4. 2. 1 Routing Setup - Routing is not f unctional with the AirStation Br idge Routing is the path data pack ets take betw een devices on the netw ork. A route is g ov erned by the routing table, a cop y of which exists on each network de vice.
4.2.2 P ack et Filter - This featur e does not function on the AirStation Compact Repeater Bridge Log Output - Activates the packet fi lter log. Filter setting - Choose type from pull-do wn menu. For Manual setting : • Operation - Pack ets fr om LAN, select ignored, r ejected , o r accepted .
10 4.3.2 Name a nd P asswor d AirStation name - When using Client Manager and mul- tiple AirStations, select a unique name to mak e it easier to identify each AirStation.
