The Grill Gauge makes allowances for the outside air temperature by having 3 sectors labeled Hot Day, Cool Day, and Cold Day.
installation instruCtions 1. Turn gas grill burner control knob OFF, turn propane supply OFF at cylinder. 2. Move gas grill to an open, well-ventilated outdoor area prior to disconnecting/connecting to outlet of propane cylinder service valve. 3. Make sure all connections are clean.
installation instruCtions (Cont.) NOTE: In the connection process, the connections will seal on the internal backcheck modules in the cylinder valve and Grill Gauge resulting in a slight resistance. The connection requires about a one-half to three-quarters additional turn to complete the connection.
operating instruCtions Before lighting and using your appliance, check all connections for leaks using a mild soapy water solution. DO NOT USE MATCHES! Testing for leaks should start at the gas cylinder working back to your appliance. Leak TesT Procedure 1.
9 operating instruCtions (Cont.) 3. When propane system is pressurized, apply a 50/50 solution of soap and water with a soft bristled brush to all connections and look for bubbles. An expanding bubble or bubbles indicate you have a leak. Repair all leaks prior to using propane cylinder or appliances.
