4 English Overview The Bose ® SoundD ock ® 10 Bluetooth ® dock adds Bluetooth wir eless technology capability to your SoundDock 10 digital music syst em. After installing this accessory , you can listen to your stereo Bluetooth music phone with high-quality , room-filling sound.
5 English 4. Slide the left end of the Bl uetooth ® dock into the dock opening (A). 5. Press down on the right side of th e dock until it locks in place (B). Making the first connection 1. Plug the power cord of the SoundDock ® 10 digital music system into an AC outlet.

7 English Connecting with other stere o Bluetooth ® music phones After making an initial connection , you can change the co nnection to another phone by activating the discov erable mode again. However , you can connect to only one phone at a time. 1.
8 English Data tra nsfer lig ht Certain conditions may affect the capab ility of your phone to adequately transfer data to the Bluetooth ® dock. This may aff ect the quality of the audio heard fr om your SoundDock ® 10 system. The data transfer light on the dock tells you how well the Bluetooth dock is receiving data f rom your phone.
9 English T r oubleshooting If you experience difficulty with your Bluetooth ® dock, use the following table to try to solve the problem. If the pr oblem persists, see “Contacting customer service” on page 11. Problem What to do Cannot connect my phone to the dock • Make sure your SoundDock ® 10 system is co nnected to AC power .
10 English Removing the Bl uetooth dock To r e m o v e t h e Bluetooth dock so you can put the universal dock back in your system: 1. Slide the release latc h (A) to the right. 2. Lift up the right side (B) of the Bluetooth dock to remove it. Poor sound quality • Move your phone closer to the system or to a dif ferent location.
