en 7 Using special salt Always refill with special salt immediately before switching on the appliance. This ensure s that overr un special sal t solution is immediately w ashed out and does not corrode the rinsing tank. – Open the s crew-type cap of the compart ment 1B .
en 8 As soon a s the rin se-aid refill indicator X is l it on the fascia, there is still a rinse-aid reserve of 1–2 rinsing processe s. Refill with rins e aid. The rinse aid is re qu ire d fo r sta in -fr ee utensils and cle ar glasses. Use only rinse aid for domestic dis hwashers.

Cutlery basket You should alway s place cutler y unsorted with the points down w ards. To prevent inju ries, place long, pointed implements and knives on the knife shelf.
