en 4 Delivery – Check the packaging and dishw asher immediately for damage caused in transit. Do not switch on a damaged appliance, but contact your supplier. – Please dispose of the packaging material in an envi ronmen tally friend ly manner. – Do not let children play with packaging and its parts.

en 7 To ensure good washing results, the dishwasher requires soft water , i.e. containing low amounts of lime, otherwise white limescale will be deposited on the utensils and inner container. Tap water above 7° dH (from set value • : ‹‚ ) must be softened.
en 8 Using special salt Always refill with spe cial salt immediate ly before switching on the appliance. This ensures that overrun special salt solution is immediately washed out and does not corrode the rinsing tank. – Open the screw-type cap of the compartment 1b .
en 9 As soon as the rinse-aid refill indicator P is lit on the fascia, there is still a rinse-aid reserve of 1 – 2 rinsing processes. Refill with rinse aid. The rinse aid is required for stain-free utensils and clear glasses. Use only rinse aid for domestic dishwashers.
en 10 Not suitable – Cutlery and utensils made of wood. – Delicate decorative glasses, craft and antique utensils. These decors are not dishwasher-proof. – Plastic parts not resistant to he at. –C o p p e r a n d t i n u t e n s i l s . – Utensils which are soil ed with ash, wax, lubricating grease or ink.

en 12 Adjusting the height of the baske t The height of the upper ut ensils basket 12 can be adjusted in 3 stages to create more space either in the upper or lowe r basket. Appliance height 81.5 cm Appliance height 86.5 cm – Pull out the top basket 12 out.
en 13 Adding det ergent – If the detergent dispen ser 92 is still closed, press the lock 9: to open the detergent dispe nser. Pour detergent in to the dry detergent dispenser 92 only (i nsert tablet flat, not on its edge). Dosage: see manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
en 14 Notes – You w ill o bta in opt imum rins ing and drying results by using solo detergents and applying salt and rinse aid separately. – If programmes are short, tablets may not have full clea ning effect due to different dissolving properties and there may even be undissolved detergent residue.
en 15 The max. possible number of programmes is illu strated in this ov erview. The correspon ding programmes for your appliance can be found on the fasc ia. Programme selection You can select a suitable progra mme according to the type of utensils and degree of soiling.

en 17 Programme data The programme data (consumption values) can be found in the sum mary of instructions. They refer to normal conditions and the water hardness se t value • : ‹… . Different influencing factors such as e.g. water temperature or line pressure may result in devia tions.
en 18 Display windo w Apart from information on the programme sequence, the display window )2 also indicates additional information on e.g. spray pressure. If you would no longer like to have this additional information displayed , proceed as follows.
en 19 – Press programme button # until the factory set value ˜ : ‹‚ is indicated on the digital display 8 . T o chang e the setting: – Press programme button 3 . Each time the button is pressed, the set value increases by one level; wh en the value of ˜ : ‹ƒ has been reached, the display jumps back to ˜ : ‹‹ (off).
en 20 Interior light * The interior light 1" comes on when th e door is opened irresp ective of wheth er the ON/OFF switch ( is switched on or off. When the door is closed or ajar, the light is off. – Open the door. –S w i t c h o n O N / O F F s w i t c h ( .
en 21 Filters The filters 1j keep large foreign objects in the rinsing water away from the pump . These foreign objects may occasionally block the filters. The filter system consists of a coarse filter, a flat fine filter and a microfilter. – After each washing cycle che ck the filters for residue.
en 22 W aste water pump Large food remnants in the rinsing water not retained by the filters may block the waste water pump. The rinsing water is then not pumped out and covers the filter . In this case: – First disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Do not cut through this hose, do not immerse the plastic housing in water.

If your appliance is fitted with Aqua-Stop, you can leave your appliance unattended during operation and leave the tap turned on afterwards. The tap should only be turned off if you are absent from home for a prolonged period, e.g. several weeks holiday.
