Mounting the Unit in a Japanese Car . You may have difficulty mounting this unit in some Japanese cars that have IS0 mounting features (side-bracket mounting systems). Ignition-Off Clock Recall Any button press while ignition off displays time for about 8 seconds. Ignition-On Unit lights up and clock is displayed. Release for Detachable Faceplate Push REL to detach face. Already-inserted cassette remains in unit. Current settings and source mode are stored.
AUDIO TS Bass, Treble, Balance and Fade Press Mute/AUDIO for more than l/2 second to access Bass. Subsequent presses access Treble, Balance and Fade modes. Preset Station Storage . After tuning desired frequency on desired band, press and hold a Preset Button for more than 2 seconds to store current frequency. Audio is muted during storage, preset number appears, and beep acknowledges storage. Preset Station Selection Press desired Preset Button.
