42 Optimising Radio Recept ion T reble cut in t he presence of interference ( H IC UT) The HICUT function improv es the sound when radio reception is poor (FM only). When interference is being receiv ed, the treble is automatically cut, which there- f ore also reduces the level of interf er- ence.
