5 www .bissell.com 800.237.7691 Y our unit will require no tools to put together . 1 . Remove the dirt tank by pulling up on both handles to unlatch. Lift upper half of unit to remove. 2 . Remove all accessories and parts stored in the bottom of the tank prior to use.
Mounting & installation continued Concrete Wall (f asteners not included) Y ou will need; (4) 3/8” x 2-1/4” concrete sleeve anchors. 1 . Drill a 3/8” x 1-3/4” hole with a masonr y drill bit. 2 . Insert a bolt and anchor sleeve into the hole.
Wet or dry vacuuming mode 1. Attach hose to the wet/dry hose inlet opening (located on the front left side of the unit) by pushing fitted end of hose and turning clockwise until you feel it is secure. 2. Attach extension wand, if desired, to end of hose by pushing it firmly into the hose.
Thermal motor protection: An internal thermal protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheating. When the thermal protector activates, the main vacuum motor will stop operating. If this happens, proceed as follows. 1. T urn the vacuum OFF and unplug from electrical outlet.
Floor cleaning (2) Extension wands Use with desired attachment for a longer reach. Large area cleaning tool Use on large surfaces for maximum pick up . Multi surface floor tool May be used on both carpet/rugs or hard floor surfaces. For use on carpets, make sure the tab is in the down position .
10 www .bissell.com 800.237.7691 M aintenance and care Cleaning the dirt tank 1. Unplug the unit from electrical outlet. 2. Remove the dirt tank by pulling up on both handles to unlatch. 3. Ensure the dirt tank has been emptied. 4. The dirt tank may be washed in warm water .
