4 Y our New W ashing Machine Y our new washing machine, which is fitted with the New Jet System, meets all modern requir ements for ef fective treatment of laundry with low water , energy and deter gent consumption.
5 Description of the Appliance 1 Detergent dispenser drawer 2 Control panel 3 Door locked light 4 Door opening handle 5 Filter 6 Adjustable feet Door lock ed light It stays on during the whole programme indicating that the door is locked. When the light goes out, the door can be opened (see page 13).
1 “On/Off ” button Press this button to switch the washing machine on. The display (8) will show three flashing dashes or a flashing zero. Y ou will find more detailed explanations on pages 7-8 (see “Display”). Press the On/Off button again to switch the machine of f.
7 As all spinning phases are suppressed, this washing cycle is very quiet and it can be useful at night or in times with a more economical power rate. On cotton and synthetic programmes the rinses will be performed with more water .
• Delay start , a time value indicated in hours and selected by means of the relevant button (max 23 hours). The delay time is displayed for 3 seconds, then the duration of the selected programme reappears.
9 9 “Star t/Pause” button This button has two functions: • S tart : after you have selected the desired programme and options, press this button to start the washing machine.
10 T o select Drain only , press the “ Skip ” button three times, the wash - rinses - spin LED,s go out. The drain LED only remains alight. 11 “Dela y” button This button makes it possible to delay the starting of the programme selected from 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 23 hours.
11 Operating Sequence Before the first wash, we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 95°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment of the dispenser drawer and start the machine.

18 18 Maintenance and Cleaning Before any maintenance or cleaning is carried out you must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply . Descaling The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.
19 Release the emergency emptying hose, place it in the container , and remove its cap by unscrewing it. When no more water comes out, unscrew the filter and remove it. Clean the filter under a running tap, then refit it, screwing it fully in. Put the cap back on the emergency emptying hose, place the latter back in its seat.
20 The door will not open ● The water level is above the bottom edge of the door . ● The machine is heating the water . ● The drum is turning. In any case, the door can only be opened when the relevant light has gone out.
Symptom Possible causes 21 21 Spinning starts late or the machine does not spin ● The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in because the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistributed by reverse rotation of the drum.

23 Installation Instructions T echnical Specifications It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way . Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
24 24 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using the spanner supplied with the appliance, unscrew and remove the two rear bottom screws.
25 W ater inlet Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Do not use already employed hoses. Always use the hose supplied with the appliance to connect to the water supply . Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements.
26 2. Onto a sink outlet spigot. If the outlet spigot has not been used before, remove any blanking plug that may be in place. Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secure with a clip if required, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to prevent waste from the sink entering the washing machine.
