User manual Dishwasher ZSF 4143.
Thank you for selecting our appliance We wish you lots of enjoyment with your new appliance and we hope that you will consider our brand again when purchasing household appliances. Please read this user manual carefully and keep it throughout the product life cycle as a reference document.
Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.

Delay start button This option allows th e start of the program me to be delayed by 3, 6 or 9 hours. The co untdown will de- crease with steps o f 3 hours. Before selectin g the washing programm e, press the On/Off button and then press the Dela y start button until the light correspond- ing to 3h, 6h or 9h illuminates.

IMPORTANT! If the drying results are not satisfactory we rec- ommend that you: 1. Fill up the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid. 2. Set the rinse aid dosage to position 2. If you decide in future to use separated deter- gents, we advise that you: – Fill up the salt and rinse aid container.

Unscrew the ca p. Only before filling with salt for the first time , fill the sal t container wit h wa- ter. Using the fu nnel provide d, pour in the sa lt until the container is fille d with salt. Remove any trace of salt. Replace the c ap tightly turning it c lockwise unt i l it stops with a click.
CAUTION! Never fill the ri nse aid dispenser wit h any other sub- stances (e . g. dishwasher cl ea ning agent, li qu id deter- gent). This wo uld damage the appliance.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitability: • Cutlery with wood en, horn, china or mother- of- pearls handle s. • Plastic item s that are not he at resistant. • Older cutlery with glued pa rts that are not temp er- ature resista nt.
The two rows of pron gs on the lower bask et can be easily lowe red to allow you to load pots, pa ns and bowls. Load upper ba sket. Light items (plastic bowls etc.) must be lo aded in the up - per basket and arrang ed so they do no t move. For taller items, th e cup racks can b e folded up- wards.
To move to the higher posit ion proceed as follows: 1. Pu ll out the baske t until it stops. 2. Care fully lift both sides upwards un til the mecha- nism is enga ged and the ba sket is stable . To lower the basket to the original p osition proceed as follows: 1.
For programmes with pre- wash add an additional detergent do se in com- partment B . When using deterg ent tablets : place deterge nt tablets in co mpartm ent A . Close the lid . Detergent tablets Detergent tablets from different manufacturers dissolve at different rates.
Clean filter s A , B and C thoroughly unde r run ning water. Turn the handle about 1/4 turn anticlo c kwise and re- move filters B and C . Remove filter A from the base of the wa shing com- partment. Replace th e filters and lock by turni ng t he hand le clockwise to th e stop.
2. Leave the door ajar to prevent the forma- tion of any unpleasant smells. 3. Leave the inside of the machine clean. Frost precautions Avoid placing the machine in a location where the temperature is below 0°C. If this is unavoid- able, empty the machine, close the appliance door, disconnect the water inlet pipe and empty it.
Switch off the dishwasher, open the door and carry out the following suggested corrective ac- tions. Fault code and malfunction Possible cause and solution The dishwasher does no t fill with water.

Consumption values The consumption values are intended as a guide and depends on the pressure and the temperature of the water and also by the var- iations of the power supply and the amount of dishes.

Any electrical and/or plumbing work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician and/or plumber or compe- tent person.
Inlet hose Connect the inlet hose to a water tap with an exte rnal thread of 3/4”. The inlet hose can be turned eith er to the left or th e right to suit the installa tion by means of the locknut. The locknut must b e correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
Electrical connection CAUTION! Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed. Prior to using the appliance for the first time, ensure that the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match that of the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
