3 Installation • This oven must be installed by qualified personnel to the relevant British Standards. • This oven is heavy. Take care when moving it. • Remove all packaging, both inside and outside the oven, before using the oven. • Do not attempt to modify the oven in any way.

6 Contr ol P anel All the oven functions are controlled by an electronic programmer. You can select any combination of cooking function, cooking temperature and automatic timing. In the e vent of a pow er failure , the prog r ammer will keep all the settings (time of day , progr am setting or progr am in oper ation) f or about 10 minutes.
7 ☞ How to set the Time of Da y The ov en has a 24 hour clock. When the ov en is first connected to the electr ical supply , the displa y will automatically show 12:00. If no button is pressed within 10 seconds , the numbers will stop flashing and the clock will start running from 12.
8 If the internal temperature is higher than the selected temperature (e .g. when a cooking function has been completed and the o ven is still hot) the internal temperature will not be displa yed. Thermal Grilling - This function offers an alternative method of cooking food items, normally associated with conventional grilling.
9 "F ast Heat Up" function After a cooking function has been selected and the temperature has been adjusted, the cavity will gradually heat up until the selected temperature is reached. This will take from 10 to 15 minutes, depending on selected function and temperature.
10 Bef ore the First Use Remov e all packaging , both inside and outside the ov en, before using the o ven. Bef ore first use, the o ven should be heated without f ood. During this time , an unpleasant odour ma y be emitted. This is quite nor mal. 1. Switch on the o ven b y pressing the "ON" push button.
11 Cookware • Use any oven proof cookware which will withstand temperatures of 250 ° C. • Baking tra ys, ov en dishes , etc. should not be placed directly against the grid cov ering the fan at the bac k of the oven, or placed on the ov en base.
12 How to set the min ute minder 1) Press button to select the Minute Minder Function. The relevant pilot light will flash and the control panel will display 0.00. 2) Press button or within 3 seconds to select the required time (up to 19 hours 59 minutes).
13 To programme the Oven to s witc h on and off 1) Carry out the cooking duration setting as described in “To programme the Oven to switch off”. 2) Press button . The "End of Cooking" function will be selected, and the relevant pilot lamp will flash.
14 Saf ety Cut-Off Function If no changes are made to the oven settings, the oven will switch off automatically according to the following table: If temperature setting is: the oven will switch off: 2.
15 The F an Oven The air inside the ov en is heated b y the element around the f an situated behind the back panel. The f an circulates hot air to maintain an ev en temperature inside the ov en.
16 Runner positions are not cr itical, b ut make sure the shelv es are evenly spaced. When cooking more than one dish in the fan o ven, place dishes centrally on the shelv es rather than sev er al dishes on one shelf . When the oven is full, y ou may need to allow a slightly longer cooking time.
17 The Con ventional Oven When using this setting, heat comes from both the top and bottom elements. This allows you to cook on a single lev el and is par ticular ly suitab le for dishes which require e xtra base bro wning such as quiches and flans.
18 Cooking Char t - F an and Con ventional Oven The oven temperatures are intended as a guide only. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the temperatures by 10 ° C to suit individual preferences and requirements. NOTE: Shelf positions are counted from bottom of the oven.
19 The oven f an operates without heat and circulates the air , at room temper ature , inside the oven. This increases the speed of defrosting. Howev er , please note that the temperature of the kitchen will influence the speed of defrosting. This function is par ticularly suitab le for defrosting delicate f ood which could be damaged by heat, e.

21 ☞ How to Use the Inner Grill Element The inner grill provides quick direct heat to the central area of the grill pan. Use the inner grill element for cooking small quantities, it can help to save energy. 1. Switch the oven ON . 2. 23 The bottom element provides direct heat to the base of pizzas, quiches or pies, while the fan ensures air is circulated to cook the pizza toppings or pie fillings. 25 Oven Ca vity The enamelled ov en cavity is best cleaned whilst the ov en is still w arm. Wipe the o ven o ver with a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water after each use . From time to time it will be necessar y to do a more thorough cleaning, using a propr ietary ov en cleaner .
26 Cleaning the hing ed grill This model has been fitted with a hinged grill element to enable you to clean the roof of the oven easily. Before proceeding ensure the oven is cool and is isolated from the electricity supply. 1) Undo the screw which holds the grill in place (see diagram).
27 If something goes wr ong SYMPTOM ■ The ov en does not come on ■ The ov en light does not come on ■ It takes too long to finish the dishes , or they are cooked too f ast.
