This instrument will recognize even a single note as a chord. Try play- ing from one to three notes at the same time to the left of the split point.

Using Songs 30 PSR-S500 Owner’s Manual This instrument is capable of display the scores (notation) of Songs. Scores are displayed for the preset Songs. Scores can also be displayed for Songs loaded from computer as well as Songs played back from USB fl ash memory .

When you select a Style or Song the optimum re verb type for the V oice used is automatically selected. If you want to select a different re verb type, use the operation described belo w .

Y ou can change the tempo during Song or Style playback by pressing the b utton just twice.

Settings 1 and 2 are best for listening via the instrument’ s b uilt-in speakers, setting 3 is for headphones, and settings 4 and 5 are ideal for listening via e xternal speak- ers or when connecting to an external mixer .
