This thermostat is intended for use with a low v oltage NEC Class II system. Do not use this thermostat with a line voltage system. If in doubt about whether y our wiring is millivolt, line, or low v oltage, ha ve it inspected b y a qualified heating and air conditioning contractor or electrician.

3 Using y our thermostat Home, Sleep and A way T emperature Pre-Sets Y ou can set your (Home, Sleep , A wa y) temperatures for use when y ou get home , go to sleep, or leav e home . Then, just press the button y ou want and go . F av orite T emperatures are set at the f actory as indicated in the f ollowing table .
4 Remove the Old Thermostat 1. T urn off power to the heating and cooling system. 2. Remov e the front cov er of the old ther mostat, this usually pulls off . 3. Loosen the screws that hold the thermostat to the wall. 4. Identify each wire attached to the old thermostat.

6 T r oubleshooting Reset Operation If a voltage spik e or static discharge blanks out the displa y or causes erratic thermostat operation, you ma y need to reset the thermostat. T o reset, the System Switch must be in Cool or Heat . Simultaneously press and b uttons f or approximately 10 seconds until the displa y goes blank.
