6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontrols Electric ign iters au tomatically light the surfac e bur ners when control knobs are turned t o IGNITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw are on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or without cookware on th e grate.
7 Sealed Surf ace Burners IMPORT AN T : Do not obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilat ion air around the bur ner grate edge s. Burner cap: Always keep the bur ner cap in pl ace when using a surface bu rner . A clean bu rner cap w ill help a void poor ignition and uneven flames.

12 Mea t The rmome ter On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, use a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat, poultry and fish. The inter nal tempera ture, not appearance, sh ould be used to determine doneness. A meat therm ometer is not supplied w ith this ap pliance .
13 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3" (7 cm) or mor e from the broil burn er . Times are guidelines only and may need to be ad justed for indivi dual tast es. Recom mended rack po sitions are num bered fro m th e bott om ( 1) to the t op (5) .
14 T imed C ooking (on some models ) Timed Cooking allows the oven to b e set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a se t length of time, and/or shu t off automatical ly . Dela y start should n ot be used for food su ch as breads and cakes bec ause they may n ot bake properly .

16 Style 2 - Electric Ov en Control The AUTO-CLEAN cy cle time is adj ustable, from 2 hours 30 minut es to 4 hours 30 minut es in 15 -minute incr eme nts. Suggested cle an times are 2 hours 30 minutes for ligh t soil and 4 hour s 30 minut es for h eavy soil.

Cooked-on soils sh ould be soaked or s crubbed befor e going int o a dish washer .
