Using the electronic Minute Timer The Minute Timer does not start or stop the oven. It works like a kitchen timer. It can be set in hours and minutes up to 12 hours. Adjusting the oven temperature control Although your new oven is properly adjusted NOTE: DO NOT measure oven temperature to provide accurate temperatures, it may with a thermometer.
How to determine the amount of adjustment needed The chart at the right tells you how much to adjust the offset temperature to get the desired cooking results. You can determine cooking results by the amount of browning, moistness, and rising times for baked foods.

Energy saving tips Although the energy used for cooking is usually a very small percentage of the total energy used in the home, cooking energy can be used efficiently. Here are some tips to help you save energy when using your cooking product: l Use pans with flat bottoms, straight sides, and tight-fitting lids.
To start baking/roasting now and stop automatically: Method l-Using Cook Time: 1. Prepare oven. Position the oven rack(s) properly and put food in the oven. For correct rack placement, see “Positioning racks and pans” on page 10. 2. Choose Bake setting.

The oven vent Oven vent Hot air and moisture escape from the oven through a vent on the backguard below the control panel. The vent is needed for air circulation.
The anti-tip bracket The range will not tip during normal use. However, tipping can occur if you apply too much force or weight to the .open door without the anti-tip bracket properly secured. Tip Over Hazard Connect anti-tip bracket to the range feet.
Using the Self-Cleaning Cycle The Self-Cleaning cycle saves you from the toil and mess that often come with hand-cleaning the oven interior. Like the other functions of your range, you operate the Self-Cleaning cycle with the easy-to-use electronic control.
NOTES: l Do not force the Lock Lever. You could l Do not leave plastic utensils near the bend or break it. The lever is designed to vent. They may melt. stay locked until the oven is cool enough to safely open. Wait until it moves freely. l Do not leave any foil in the oven during the Self-Cleaning cycle.

After Self-Cleaning cycle starts: LOCKED lights up on the display when the oven temperature goes above normal baking/roasting temperatures.
To delay start using stop time: 1. Press Auto Clean pad. PRESS YOU SEE A 3’/2-hour Self-Cleaning cycle will be set automatically. 2. Set cleaning time (optional). If you want a Self-Cleaning cycle longer or shorter than 3’/2 hours, use the Hour and Minute pads to set the desired cleaning time.
6. After Self-Cleaning cycle starts: LOCKED lights up on the display when the oven temperature goes above normal baking/roasting temperatures. The Lock Lever must not be moved and the door cannot be opened when LOCKED is on. YOU SEE 7. After Self-Cleaning cycle ends: YOU SEE (example for 5:30 stop time) 8.
To delay start using delay start time: 1. Press Auto Clean pad. A 3lh-hour Self-Cleaning cycle will be set automatically. PRESS YOU SEE 2. Set cleaning time (optional). If you want a Self-Cleaning cycle longer or shorter than 3l/2 hours, use the Hour and Minute pads to set the desired cleaning time.
6. After Self-Cleaning cycle starts: LOCKED lights up on the display when the oven temperature goes above normal baking/roasting temperatures. The Lock Lever must not be moved and the door cannot be opened when LOCKED is on. 7. After Self-Cleaning cycle ends: NOTE: The stop time will be the start time plus the cleaning time.
Special tips l Keep the kitchen well ventilated during the Self-Cleaning cycle to help get rid of heat, odors, and smoke. l After the oven is cool, wipe up any residue or ash with a damp cloth or sponge. If any spots remain, clean with a mild abrasive cleanser or cleaning sponge.
Caring for Your Range Your range is designed for easy care. You can do most cleaning with items found around your home. Cleaning your range whenever spills or soiling occurs will help to keep it looking and operating like new. Cleaning the cooktop This cooktop is designed for easy care.
Cleaning tips How to keep your cooktop looking like What to use: new: l Cooktop Polishing Creme (included with your range) with paper towel or clean, damp sponge - This creme has been developed especially for cleaning and protecting your cooktop. When using, follow instructions on container.
