3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti-Tip Br acket The range will no t tip during normal use. However , the range can tip if you appl y too much force or weight to the open d oor wit hou t th e anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontrols The control knobs can be se t anywhe r e betw een HI and LO. Push in and turn to setting. The surface cooking ar ea locator shows which ele ment is tur ned on. Use the foll owing chart as a guide when se tting he at levels .
8 Coil Elemen ts a nd Bur ner Bowls (on s ome models) Coil elements should be level for optimal cooking r e sults. Burner bowls, when cl ean, reflect heat back to t he cookware. They also help cat ch s pill s. Cookwar e sh ould not exte nd mor e than 1 in.

10 Ti m e r The Timer c an be set in hours or minute s up to 12 hours an d 59 minutes an d counts down th e set time. The Timer d oes not start or stop the oven. To S e t : 1. Press TIMER •• CANCEL. The timer oven indicator light wi ll light up. 2.
11 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot air must be ab le to circul ate. Allow 2 in. (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven walls. Use t he following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendations and use t he bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
12 Baking and Roasting Before baking an d roasting, posit ion racks according to the “Position ing Racks and B akeware” section. When roasting, it is not necessary to wait for the ov en preheat condition ing time to end before puttin g food in unless recommended in the recipe.
13 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3 in. (7 cm) or mor e from the broil element. Time s are guidelines on ly and may need t o be adjus ted for individual foods and tast es. Recommended rac k positions are numbered from the bottom (1) to the top (5).

15 CERAMIC GLAS S (on some m odels) Do not u se steel wool, abras ive powde r cleansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover or ammonia because damage may occur . Always wipe with a cl ean, wet cl oth or sponge and d ry thoroughl y to prevent streaking and staining.
16 OVEN AND ROASTING R ACKS ■ Self-C leani ng cycl e: See “Self-Cl eaning Cycle” first. Remove racks or they wil l discolor and be come harder to slide. If this happens , a light coating of ve getable oil applied to th e rack guid es will help them sli de.
17 T o Replace: 1. Grasp the door on the sides with your fingers on the fr ont of the door an d your t humbs o n the insi de surface. 2. Hold oven door so that the top edge of each hinge hanger is horizontal. Insert hinge hangers in to the front frame hinge slots .
