Preparation 3 Pr eparation Y our BenQ projector is equipped with the wir ed and/or wireless netw ork function. Y ou can manage and control the pr ojector from one or more r emote computers using a web bro wser when they are pr operly connected to the same local area network.
Preparation 4 4. Press to select the item you want to modify and press MODE/ENTE R . 5. Press / to mov e the cursor and the press / to enter the value. 6. T o sav e the settings, press MODE/ENTER . If you do not want to save the settings, pres s MENU/EXI T .
Preparation 5 4. Click "Connect" in yo ur wireless netw ork connection window . In the Infrastructure mode In this mode, the projector is connected to th e local area network wir elessly and r eady to be accessed by any computer on the same local area netw ork.
Preparation 6 6. Click Search in the SSID ro w to list all the available wir eless access points. Click the desired SSID in the Search r esult list and click Apply . 7. Disconnect the RJ45 cable fr om the computer . 8. Select the same SSID from your computer .
QPresenter 7 QPr esenter QPresente r is an application running on the ho st PC. It helps connect your computer to an a vailable network projector and transfer the desktop contents and/or audio signal to the network pr ojector via local network connection.

Y ou can name the projector , k eep track of its loca tion and the person in charge of it.

Controlling the project or remotely through a web browser 17 The Wired LAN page allows you to adjust the Wired LAN settings. Only WEP encr yption is supported. The Wireless LAN page allows you to adjust the Wireless LAN settings. The maximum length for SSID is 16 bytes.
