4 Product Dimensions Location Requirements IMPORT ANT : Observe all gover ning codes and ordinances. Canopy hood location should be away from str ong draft areas, such as windows, doors and strong heating vents. Cabinet opening dimensions that are shown must be used.

2. Select a flat surface for assembling the unit. Cover that surface with a protective covering. 3. Using 2 or more people, lift range hood onto pr otective covering. 4. Determine and mark the centerline on the wall where the canopy hood will be installed.
6. T ape template in place, aligning the template centerline and bottom of template with hood bottom line and with the centerline marked on the wall. 7. Mark centers of the 6 fastener locations through the template to the wall. IMPORT ANT : At least two of the screws must be installed into wood.
8 4. Level the hood with leveling screws in mounting hooks or rectangular cutouts, using a level acr oss bottom of hood. 5. Secure hood with 4 scr ews through remaining 4 holes in hood. Install V ent V ented Installations 1. Fit vent system over transition piece.
Complete Installation 1. Install vent cover . ■ When using both upper and lower vent cover , push lower cover down onto hood and lift upper cover to ceiling and install screws. ■ For reduced ceiling height installations, when using only the lower cover , push lower cover down onto hood and snap vent into place around vent cover bracket.
10 T o replace the metal grease filters: 4. Insert back edge of filter into rear channel of the filter opening. 5. Push handle toward the r ear and push filter up. 6. Pull filter toward the fr ont and insert into front channel. Charcoal Filters - For non-vented (r ecirculating) installations The charcoal filters ar e not washable or reusable.

23 23 23 ENTRETIEN DE LA HOTTE DE CUISINIÈRE Nettoyage Avant toute opération de nettoyage de la hotte, vérifier que les lampes ont refr oidi. Surfaces externes Nettoyer la hotte avec un déter gent doux et un chiffon doux. Ne pas utiliser un produit de nettoyage abrasif ou un tampon de laine d'acier .
24 24 24 Remplacement d'une lampe L'éclairage sous la hotte est assuré par des lampes à incandescence de type E12 (120 volts, 40W , culot E12). Avant toute intervention, vérifier que l'alimentation électrique de la hotte est interrompue, et que les lampes ont pu r efroidir .
