GB1 Y OUR SAFETY AND THA T OF O THERS IS P AR AMOUNT This manual and the appliance itself provide important safety warnings, to be read and observed at all times. GB4 Energy sa ving - Only pre- heat the ov en if specified in the cooking table or your recipe. - Use dark lacquer ed or enamelled baking moulds as they absorb heat far better . - Switch the oven off 10/15 minut es bef o re the set cooking time. F ood requiring prolonged c ook ing will continue to cook ev en once the ov en is switched off .

GB6 REPLA CING THE OVEN LAMP To replace the rear lamp (if present): 1. Disconnect the oven from the po wer supply . 2. Unscrew the lamp cov er (F ig. 6), r eplace the lamp (see note f or lamp type) an d screw the lamp co ver back on. 3. Reconnect the oven to the pow er supply .

GB11 TIMER This function can be used only with the oven switched off and is useful , for example, fo r monitoring the cooking time of pasta. The maximum time which can be set is 23 hours and 59 minutes. 1. With the “F unctions” knob at zero , turn the “Brow se ” k nob to display the desir ed time.
