Powering the Camera ON 1) Batteries Make sure the batteries have been inserted properl y into your digit a l cam e ra, accor ding to the polari ty show n in side the b attery com partment.
6 Set ting the Camera Language 1) Y o u will first be prom pted to select a language for the cam er a. The Language se lection m e nu will ap pear . Select the language of your choice by pressing t he UP and DOWN direction control buttons . Then press the SE T button to confirm the selection.

11 Powering t he Camera O n/Off Make sur e the batteries have been inserted pr operly into your digit al cam era. If yo ur camera com es with a rechargeable lithium battery , make sure it is fully charged bef ore the first use. Make sur e an SD card ha s been in serted into yo ur c amera.

13 Photo Ca pture Mode The Photo Capture m ode all ows you to captur e pi ctures w ith your digita l camera. T aking a Picture 1) W hile in Photo Captu re mode, use the LCD d isplay on the back of the cam era to direct the cam era at the scene you would like to capture.
14 Photo Capture Mod e Quick Func tion B uttons Y o ur di gita l cam era has a four- directional pad that func tions as Quick Function buttons: Button Function Lef t Scene Selection – Opens the Scen.
15 Flash Options There are several Flash opt io ns availab le o n your cam era. The opt ions appear on the Photo Capture Mode LCD screen in sequence. T o ch ange the Flash m o de, pre ss the UP Qui ck Function button until you arrive at your desir ed settings.
16 Macro Switch / MACR O ON: Y o ur camera contains a Macro Sw i tch t hat allow s yo u to m anuall y enable or disable the Ma cr o m o de on you r cam era. W hile using the Macro m ode, you can cap ture images at close range ( 15 ~ 30 cm ). T o turn the Macro mode ON, s lide the M acro Sw itch u p on the side of your cam er a to the flower i con .

18 Scene Menu The Scene Menu allow s you to ch oose scene settings that let your cam era to ad apt proper ly to your current envir onm ent. Note: W hen se le cting the HIGH SENSITIVI TY Option, by default the cam era switches o ff th e FLASH autom ati cally ( if it‟s ON) to optim i ze the pi cture qua lity .
19 7) Press the MODE button t o ex i t th e m enu an d retur n to your previous m ode. 8) An icon ref lecting your selection will display o n the LCD screen. 9) Re m e mber that this setting will be saved by your cam era u ntil you m anuall y change the setting or resto re the cam era‟s default factory settings.
20 2) Press the LEFT or RI GHT direction control bu ttons to scroll and select the Self-T i m er menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direct io n control butto ns to scroll through the menu options. 4) Press the SET b utton to select and save the desired option.
21 Color E f fect Menu Y o u can choo se to add a co lor ef fe ct to the images taken w i th your camera. 1) Press the SET bu tton to open the m e nus for the current mode. 2) Press the L EF T or RI GHT direction control bu ttons to scroll and select the C olor Effect m e nu.
22 Light Exposure Me nu The Light Exposure setting he lps you control the am ount of li ght that enters your cam era‟s lens. This setting shou ld be adjusted when the environm en t is ligh ter or darker than norm al .

24 Language Menu Y o u can select yo ur cam er a‟s language sett ing by selecting the desired language from t he Language m enu. 1) Press the SET b utton to open the m enus fo r the current m ode. 2) Press the L EF T or RI GHT direction control bu ttons to scroll and select the Language menu.

26 Auto Power Of f Menu Y o u can use t he Auto Pow er Off feature i n order to conserve you cam er a‟s battery life. The desi gnated tim e repre sent s when your cam era will a utom ati call y pow er off.

Format M e mory Card Menu Y o u can use t he Form at Memory Card m enu to delete all of the content that is currentl y on y our cam era‟s m emory car d.
28 5) Y o u will be asked to confirm the resetting to the factory default sett i ngs. Sel ect “No” to ex it the m enu and return to the prev iou s m ode without re s ettin g to the default settings. Sel ect “Y e s” and press the SET button to proc eed with the reset.
29 Photo Pla yback Mode The Playback Mode allows you to review and edit photos and videos that you‟ve already t aken w ith you camera. W hen you first turn on the cam er a, the ca m er a will b e in Photo Capture m od e by default . Pre ss the MODE button twice to open the Play back Mode.
30 Ph oto Playback Mode Quick F unction Buttons Y o ur di gita l cam era has a f our- directional pad that functions as Quick Function buttons. Quick Function Button Function Lef t Displays the PREV IOUS image Up V iews all th e Photos as a Slide Show with 3, 5 or 10 second intervals.
31 Photo Pla yback Mode Menus The following are the m enus that a ppear in yo u r cam era‟s Photo Playback Mode: Delet e Menu W hile in the P layback Mode, you can de le te p ictures from yo ur camera through the Delete menu. 1) V iew the photo you would like to delete.
32 If you w ould like to proceed w i th deleting a ll t he video s a nd photos, se lect „Y e s‟ and press the SET butto n to confirm . All of your im ages wil l be perm a nentl y deleted.

Rotate Menu Use thi s m enu to r otate the p ictures that you‟v e taken with your camera. 1) Press the SET b utton to open t he m enus for the current m ode.

35 Video Cap ture Mode The Video Capture Mode allows you to captur e vi deos w ith your digital cam era. W hen the cam er a i s f i rst pow er ed ON, the ca mera will be in Photo Capture Mode. Press the MODE button once to access the V ide o Capture Mo de .

42 I SO Menu The ISO menu allows you to set the level of s ensitivity that your cam era has t o light in the surrou nd i ng e nvironm ent. When the ISO level is incre ased, the im age sensor in your cam e ra will be m ore sensi tive to light and allow you to capture im ag es i n lower -lig ht situat ion s.
43 8) Re m e mber that this setting will be saved by your cam e ra until you m a nuall y change the setting or res tore the cam era‟s default factory settings. Date/Ti me Menu W hen you capture an im age with your cam era, the image w il l include a tim e stam p with the date and tim e that th e im a ge was t aken.
44 6) For each field in the m enu, use th e UP and DOWN navi gat ion buttons to set the date and time. 7) W hen you have f i nished setting the date and t ime, press the SE T button to save your settings and return to the previous m ode. 8) Press the MODE button to ex it th e m enu w ithout saving your settings and return to your previous screen .
