unigreen 5 2 SAFETY REGULA TIONS AND RESIDU AL RISKS In relation to saf ety , the following terms will be used: Dangerous zones: any z one inside and/or near the machine where the presence of a person e xposed constitutes a risk for the saf ety and health of the same person.
6 unigreen 2.1 INTENDED USE The spra y er in this series is built f or agricultural use. The materials used are resistant to nor mal chemical products used in agricultural spra ying (or herbicides) at the time of construction.

8 unigreen 3.2 NOISE LEVEL OF THE MA CHINE Use earmuffs to protect your ears when using the machine, belo w you will find the data on the maximum noise le vels during work.
unigreen 9 4.2 PRELIMINAR Y CHECKS When you receiv e the machine , check that it is complete and no par ts are missing. If there are any damaged parts, inform your local reseller or UNIGREEN directly in good time.
10 unigreen 4.4 TRA CTOR COUPLING The tractor must ha ve 1”3/8 ASAE DIN 9611/A po wer-tak eoff that runs at 550 r pm. It m ust ha v e a 3-point elev ator suitab le f or saf ely suppor ting the weight of the atomiser . Check this by consulting the tab le of allo wed fittings N° 18a (pages 31).
unigreen 11 4.5 CARD AN SHAFT In some models this is supplied on request. The cardan shaft must bear the CE mark. It must alwa ys ha v e its own instructions that must be follo wed scrupulously and it should come with a cov er bearing the mark, integrated in ev ery par t .
12 unigreen 4.8 PRESSURE REGULA TOR T o use the pressure regulator , f o llow the instructions in the enclosed handbook scrupulously . The pressure regulator controls all of the most impor tant spraying functions , the thorough kno wledge of its functions makes work easier and more precise.

14 unigreen 4.10 FILLING THE T ANK The machines for def ensive crop treatments, in consideration of the saf ety of persons, animals and the protection of the environment, m ust only be filled indirectly from open water courses and only b y free-f alling water from the waterworks.
unigreen 15 4.12 MIXING The active principle can be mix ed using the rele v ant stirrers bef ore and during the treatment. Correct mixing and stirring is the basis of the correct distribution on the crops. W e recommend some useful accessories such as the premix er f or powders and liquids (see the f ollowing par agraph).
16 unigreen 4.1 3 W ASHING THE A T OMISER After ev er y treatment, thoroughly clean the equipment, w ashing it with water inside and out. Dir ty equipment is v er y dangerous f or people and in par ticular f or children. Discharging the residues of washing in the en vironment without taking precautions is forbidden as this pollutes w ater courses .

Y ou must take great care and beware of the eff ects that this can pro v oke: such as the aspiration and projection of f oreign bodies whic h, although of a small size, can be very dangerous especiall y f or the eyes and face.
18 unigreen 5. 3 DISTRIBUT OR A CCESSORIES V arious configurations of accessor ies or distr ib utors are fitted to the outlet of the fans . At present these are: 2 F ans , Canop y and Espalier - Double espalier Minibar - R V espalier and GDC - VL Espalier - FXF "Up and Ov er" boom f or espalier .
unigreen 19 5.3.3 R V B O O M FO R G D C This boom has lateral diffusers (v ariable and mov eab le) and two top arms with hydraulic or manual adjustment, so the jets can be directed onto the vegetation to be treated. In the bottom par t there are two adjustable , telescopic distributors f or GDC treatment.
