[ 14 ] [ 1 4 ] BASICS Adjusting the Handset Ringer and Earpiece V olume R R i i n n g g e e r r v v o o l l u u m m e e When t he phone is in s t andby mode, pr essing the delete/volume on the handset selects t he handset ringer volume. There ar e two ringe r volume levels.
1) Pr ess redial/pause . The phone number t hat w a s l as t dialed appears on the display . 2) Pr ess redial/pause again. Eac h pr ess of redial/pause will display one of t h e la s t t h r ee number s dialed. 3) Pr ess line1 . The ” Line1 ” appears o n the display, t hen the v olume setting is displayed.
[ 16 ] BASICS T one Dialing Switch-over Some t elephone companies use equipment t hat re qui re pulse dialing (sometimes refe r red to as rot a r y dialing). I f yo u need t o enter t one dialing digits, y ou can swit ch-o ver to t one dialing during t he call.
BASICS [ 17 ] BASICS T raveling Out-of-Range During a call, as y ou begin to move your handset t oo f ar fr o m y our base unit, noise increases. If y ou pass t he r ang e limits of t he base unit, y our call will ter minat e w it hin 30 seconds.
