Connect the Base , Set up the Outdoor W eather Sensor and Charge the Handset 1) Connect th e AC adapte r to th e DC IN 9V jack and to a stand ard 120V AC w all outlet. The ba se will attempt to con tact th e outdoo r weather sensor f or five min utes after it is fi rst connected .
GETTING START ED [10] www.uniden.com 3) In stall the Alkali ne batteries in to the battery compartm ent observ ing th e correc t polarity . Mak e sure the outd oor temperatur e and humi dity appear on the base display within five min utes.

GETTING START ED [12] www.uniden.com E. Mount the Base Unit on a W all Standard w all plate mounting This phon e can be mount ed on any stand ard wall plate . 1) Plug th e AC adapter to th e DC IN 9V jack. 2) Route th e AC adapter cor d through th e mold ed wiring channel as shown.

T o scroll through th e men u option s, re peatedly press th e select key in stan dby mode . The system r eturns to standby afte r the eac h last men u option .

Th e setting is complete; th e phone return s to standby m ode . Press an d hold th e and keys to scrol l quickly thr ough the n umbers for h our and minute on the display .

[17] GETTING STARTED www.uniden.com Set the Alarm Clock Set the Alarm 1) Slid e the alarm switch on th e base to set (the alarm switch is on the rig ht of th e display .) The curr ent alarm time on the display blinks , and ALARM SET appears on the display .
GETTING START ED [18] www.uniden.com Turning o ff the Alarm When th e alarm is s et and th e selecte d time comes , the alarm tone rin gs for ten minutes. T o turn off th e alarm ton e , slid e the alarm switch to off , and then ALARM OFF appears on th e display .
[19] GETTING STARTED www.uniden.com Basic Phone Setup There ar e five basic option s that you will need to set up: AutoT alk, CIDCW (Caller ID on Call W aiting), Area Cod e , Dial Mod e and Languag e . Activ a ting A utoT alk (on/off) AutoT alk allows you to answer th e phone simply by rem oving th e handset fr om the base .

[23] GETTING STARTED www.uniden.com Programming Memory Locations/Caller ID/Speed Dialing The speed di al mem ory allows you to stor e up to 10 n ames an d numbers in th e handset. Y ou can dial these n umbers with just a few key presses. The speed di al mem ory is not limited to ph one numbers .
