9 Hardware connections Connect the Internet Broadband Router 1. Connect o ne end of the network ca ble to the WAN port of t he 4-port Internet Bro ad band Ro ut er. 2. Connect the ot her end of the networ k cable to the Eth ernet por t of the xDSL or Cable modem .
11 PC NETWORK TCP/IP SETTING The network TCP/IP settings differ based on the com puter’s operating system (Win 95/98/ME/NT/2 000/XP) and are as follows. Windows 95/9 8/ME 1. Right click on the “ Network neighborhood ” icon and select properties.
