4 Safety Precautions ︱ These usage and safety guidelines are IMPORT ANT! Please follow them carefully . Please ensure that you connect the USB cable to the S toreJet 25 and your computer correctly (small end Æ StoreJet 25, large end Æ PC) General Use • Carefully unpack the contents of the StoreJet 25 package.

7 Connecting to a Computer ︱ If you want to use the S toreJet 25 as an external hard drive to upload/download data to and from your computer , you will need to connect it to a USB port on the computer using the provided USB Y -cable. Figure 2: Mini USB to S tandard-A USB cable (USB Y -cable ) 1.
8 3. When the S toreJet 25 is successfully connected to a computer, the S toreJet’s Power LED will light up, a “Transcend” disk drive with a newly-assigned drive lette r will appear in the My Computer window, and a Removable Hardware icon will appear on the Window s System Tray.

10 Note: “New V olume” is an example drive. The drive name on your Mac co mputer may differ 4. Once connected, you can use the S toreJet 25 as an external hard drive to transfer data to and from your computer . Simply drag and drop files or folders onto the Local Disk drive letter that represents the S toreJet 25.
11 Disconnecting from a Computer ︱ NEVER disconnect the StoreJet from a Computer when it s LED is flashing. Window s ® 1. Select the Removable Hardware icon on the system tra y . 2. The Safely Remove Hardware pop-up window will appear . Select it to continue.

20 Troubleshooting ︱ If a problem occurs with your S toreJet 25, please first check the information listed below before taking your S toreJet 25 in for repair . If you are unable to remedy a problem af ter trying the following suggestions, please consult your dealer , service center , or local T ranscend branch office.
