17 Chapter 2: Connecting your TV Connecting an HDMI ® or DVI device to the HDMI input The HDMI input on your TV receives digital audio and uncompressed digital video from an HDMI source device, or uncompressed digital video from a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) source device.
18 Chapter 2: Connecting your TV REGZA-LINK ® connection You can contro l the basic functio ns of connected audio /video devices u sing the TV’s remote control if you connect a REGZA-LINK ® compatible audio receiver or playback device. The REGZA-LINK ® feature uses the CEC technology as regulated by the HDMI standard.
19 Chapter 2: Connecting your TV Connecting a HDMI audio system HDMI audio system is available i f your AV amplifier corresponds to ARC. You will need: • HDMI cable HDMI's ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature This feature enables the audio signal of the TV to be sent to the AV amplifier via the HDMI cable.
20 Chapter 2: Connecting your TV Connecting a personal computer (PC) With either the PC IN or HDMI connection, you can watch your comput er’s display on the TV and hear the sound from the TV’s speakers.
21 Chapter 2: Connecting your TV Connecting a home network The LAN port all ows your Toshiba TV to connect to your home network. You can use this home netw ork to access photo, movie and music files that are stored on a DLNA CERTIFIED ™ Server and play them on your TV.

To program your TV remote control to operate a non-Toshiba device (or a Toshiba device that it is not preprogrammed to operate), follow the steps below.

When a PC is connected to the TV's PC IN term inal, you can use the PC Settings feature to make adjustments to the image. If the edges of the picture are cut off, readjust the Horizontal Position and Vertical Position .
51 Chapter 6: Basic features Setting the On Timer You can set the on timer to au tomatically turn on th e TV to a preset channel or input at a preset time.
