WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: Scale Removal 1. Follow procedures outlined for Disassembly of the unit. 2. Clean the Water Basin by partially filling the Water Basin with one 8-oz cups of undiluted white vinegar. Allow this solution to remain sitting in the Water Basin for 20 minutes, while cleaning the interior surfaces with a soft brush.
Instructions for Disassembly 1. Turn the unit off and unplug the Humidifier from the electrical outlet. 2. Use the Water Tank Handle (on the top of the Water Tank) to lift the Tank straight up and out of the Water Tank Housing. Remove Water Tank Lid and discard water.

SAFETY AUTO SHUT OFF NOTE: If the Water Tank and the Water Basin is empty, the water droplet warning symbol will illuminate on the LCD Display to signal the Water Tank should be refilled. The current room humidity will be displayed, and the Humidifier will automatically shut itself OFF.
