Section 2: Installation and Setup 5 Installing Y our 4G Desktop Modem Perform the following tasks befor e at taching the power cor d or powering up the unit: 䢇 Rotate the base of the modem to be in a perpendicular position. 䢇 Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of the modem.

Y ou can also abandon your personal settings by clicking Restore Factory Settings .

Check with Spri nt to determine whether a user name and passwor d ar e r equir ed for authentication purposes. 䡵 If the Authentication Method is EAP- TLS: ● Enter the Realm informatio n supplied by Sprint.

Section 3: Basic Configuration 14 Dynamic DNS T ab Dynamic Domain Name Service (DDNS) allows a user with a non-static IP addr ess to keep their dom ain name associated with an ever changing IP addr ess. A s an e xample, DDNS i s used when you ar e h osting y our own website.
