W atch Features Time of Day • Displays hours , minutes and seconds in 12- or 24-hour format for two time zones . • Displays month and date , as well as day of the week. • Optional hourly chime . Altimeter • Reports altitude from -2296 to 29,520 feet (-700 to 9000 meters) with 10 ft or 5 m resolution.

Notes on calibrating the Altimeter and Barometer The watch relies on a sensitive electronic sensor to measure the air pressure and temper ature . This sensor must be calibr ated periodically to maintain the high degree of accur acy you expect from the watch.
reference source available . F or example , if you are standing at a tr ail head and know the correct altitude , then the most accur ate calibr ation will be obtained by calibr ating within AL TI mode (since it relies on altitude as the reference).
(in the lower display line) and the weather forecast (at the top of the display). Setting Time of Day Refer to section entitled “Setting Oper ation” on page 11 to understand how the buttons function during setting .
Using the Dual Time Zone feature The watch can keep tr ack of the time for two zones (T1 and T2). The indicator for the primary time zone is shown in the lower left of the display .
BARO - Barometer Mode W ant a better understanding of the forces that influence the weather? This is the mode to do just that – here you can view the current air pressure (local and sea level), monitor the current temper ature and study the changes in air pressure over time , presented in a gr aphical format.
When viewing the Time of Day , Sea Level Pressure and T emper ature group , press ST OP/RESET to toggle temper a- ture display units ( ° F or ° C). NO TE: Unit selection made for temper ature and barometric pressure in BARO mode applies to all modes in the watch.
What is “Sea Level Pressure”? Sea Level Pressure is simply the air pressure for a specific location adjusted to account for the air pressure difference due to the altitude of the location.
Using the Altimeter Press and release MODE until you see “ AL TI” on the dis - play . After a couple of seconds , the watch will display the following data, in the order shown, for two seconds each: • The highest recorded altitude (indicated by “HIGH” in the lower display line).

1. Press and hold SET until the word “CAL ” appears in the upper line of the display and the sign of the calibr ation value is flashing . 2. Press ST ART/SPLIT to adjust the sign (positive for altitudes above sea level, negative for altitudes below).
