Loudspeakers have difficulty working with the electron- ic signals supplied by an amplifier . These difficulties cause such major phase and amplitude distortion that the sound reproduced by speaker differs significantly from the sound produced by the original source.
ACTIVE/ P ASSIVE SWITCH In the Passive posi- tion, the instru - ments signal is routed straight from the input to the Jensen trans- former and then directly to the XLR output. This is a strictly passive, impedance-match only mode. In this mode, the Sonic Maximizer function is not available.

W e recommend that if at all possible, a BBE DI-1000 which requires service be sent to our facility in Huntington Beach, California. W e request that a “RETURN AUTHO- RIZA TION” be issued by the dealer from whom you pur- chased the unit. If this is not possible, call BBE Sound, Inc.
W arranty registration of the unit to BBE Sound, Inc. is not necessary . It is strongly recommended that you retain a copy of the bill of sale for future reference.
