67 Mounting the Rain Sensor For best results, the rain sensor should be securely mounted onto a horizontal surface about 1 meter abo ve the ground and in an open area away from trees or other coveri ngs where rainfall may be reduced causing inaccurate readin gs.

87 16. Auto memory for stored values The base station has a memory back up system, which is used to memorize user-defined settings for when the batteries are changed or if a power failure occurs. User define d units are automatically updated each time these are changed.
