7 FILLING THE HYDRAULIC RESER VOIR Fill the hydraulic reservoir with at least five gallons o f Dextron III Automatic Transmission fluid or 10W AW hydraulic fluid. After the hydraulic reservoir and the engine crankcase are filled correctly with their respective oils, start the engine.
8 STANDARD HORIZ ONT AL TO VERTICAL The Standard Splitter has 2 operating positions: Ho rizontal, Vertical. Remove pin from below beam . Do not remove bolt and nut. Rotate beam into vertical position and pin so beam cannot fall into horizontal position.
1. Separate the components and id ent ify. Note, the left hand lig ht has the clear win dow on the bottom. Th is is for the license plate illuminatio n if needed 2. Un-tie and extend the wir ing harness alo ng the sp litter. The G reen & Brown wire go to the right hand side as the unit is towed.
