4 Connect the Camer a to y our HD TV Connect a mini HDMI cabl e (not supplied) to the mini HDMI input on the camer a and connect the other end t o a spar e HDMI input on the TV .

6 Ins talling the Mounting Br ack et (ADS-446) The pr ovided mounting brack et connects to the brack et mount located underneath the camer a. Y ou can use this to mount the c amera to a w all or c eiling.
7 Alarm I/O Bl ock The c onnection to the Alarm I/O input can be disc onnected fr om the camera, f or easier c onnection of e xternal alarms and sensor s. Note the markings on the camer a for OUT , GROUND and IN. Consult the documentation that is included with y our alarm f or c onnection instructions.
8 SwannCl oud Mobil e App: Camer a Settings: Motion Ar ea Have a l ook at the quick start guide on ho w you ac c ess camera settings. T ap on “Video Anal ytics Settings ” then tap “Motion Ar ea” . This is where y ou can sel ect a particular ar ea of the cameras view that you w ould lik e to enable f or motion detection.

T ap on “Video Anal ytics Settings ” then tap “Intrusion Dir ection” . This is where y ou can select which intrusion dir ection you woul d lik e the camera t o alert y ou to.
10 Camer a Settings: Sensitivity , Per son Size & Ev ent Delay 1. Sensitivity - This will adjust ho w sensitive the camera will be when det ecting ev ents. The default value of 80% will work in mos t envir onments, but you can adjust it ac cor ding to your needs.
11 Which e vent type(s) shoul d I be using? Intrusion Detection - Intrusion detection is r eall y useful if you want the camer a to detect mo vement in a particular dir ection. F or e x ample, if an object is mo ving fr om l eft to right, you w ould sel ect “Right ” as the intrusion dir ection within the app.

Y ou can use the web app t o view and delet e ev ents, and to mark e vents so the y ar e permanentl y st or ed. 19 5. Cloud St orage: F ramer ate - This will alter the framer ate f or video ev ents that ar e stor ed in the cloud. The ma ximum framer ate f or the web app is 15 frames per sec ond. 6.
