High-per formance fans provide ample optimized cooling for FB-DIMM memory modules and twenty-four hot-swappable drive bays offer maximum storage capacity .

The only tool you will need to install components and perform maintenance is a Phillips screwdriver .

SC846 Chassis Manual 4-14 4-8 Power Sup ply The SC846 Chassis has e ither a 710 Watt or a 900 W att, high-efciency re dundant power supply . This power supply is auto-switching capable. This enables it to auto - matically sense and operate at a 100v to 240v input voltage.
4-15 Chapter 4: Chassis Setup and Maintenance Changing the Power Supply: If your chassis includes a redundant power supply (at least two power mod - 1. ules), you can leave th e server running an d remove only one power supply . If your server has only one powe r supply , you must pow er down the server and unplug the power cord.
SC846 Chassis Manual 4-16 3. Pull the power supply out using the handle provided. 4. Replace the failed power module with the same model. 5. Push the new power supply module into t he power bay until you hear a click. 6. Plug the AC power cord back into the module and power up the server .
