The only tool you will need to install components and perform maintenance is a Phillips screwdriver.

SC743 Chassis Manual 4-6 4-6 Conguring the Storage Module Storage Module Options The storage module can congured to accomodate a variety of data storage devices such as CD, IDE, DVD, tape and oppy driv es. The c hassis may be rotated fro m a vertical tower position, to a horizontal rack mounting position to accomdate use of these devices.
4-7 Chapter 4: Chassis Setup and Maintenance Conguring the Storage Module for 5.25" Devices Remove the 5.25” driv e trays from the st orage module. 1. Remove the screws and drive tray brackets from the drive trays. 2. Install the 5.25” devices into the storage module.

4-15 Chapter 4: Chassis Setup and Maintenance 4-1 1 Power Supply The SC743 chassi s includes a power supply rated at either 645, 650, 760 or 865 W atts. In the unlikely event that you need to replace the power supply , simply follow the directions for your specic power supply below .
