14 Recommendations for using yo ur display sy stem 1. Optimize the lifetime of your display Enabling the Displ ay Power Management System (DP MS) of your display (in the display’s Settings menu) wi ll optimize LCD backlight lifetime by automa tically sw itching off the backlight when the display is not used for a specified period of time.
15 • Do not apply pres sure to the screen or touch the screen with bare fingers or objects. Pressure can affect imag e qualit y. C osmeti cs and oi ls on th e skin are both detrimental to the screen and difficult to remove. • Allow t he disp lay to wa rm up to room temperature before turning it on.
