10 ► SM20 User Manual PREOPERA TION PROCEDURES CHECK POWER SOURCE 1. Using a calibrated ow meter and pres sure gauge, make sure the hydraulic power source develops a ow of 4–6 gpm/15–23 Ipm at 1000-2000 psi/70–140 bar or 7–9 gpm/26–34 lpm at 1000-2000 psi/70/140 bar .
SM20 User Manual ◄ 1 1 • Do not lift water mixed with solids over 40 ft/12 m if hydraulic ow from the power source is less than 7 gpm/26 lpm. • If output ow from the water hose drops during oper - ation, clean out the hose to remove all obstructions.
