ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 7 Pla ce all parts from the box in a cleared area a nd position them on the floor in front of you. Re move all pa cking materi als from your area a nd pla ce the m ba ck into the box. Do not dispose of the pa cking materi als until a ssembly is completed.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 8 STEP 4 Slide the FRONT LEG(2) onto the FRONT BRACE(1) a s shown in the illustration a nd secure with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS(M8x1.25x20mm)(52). Do not tighten bolts until STEP 5 is complete. STEP 5 Slide the REAR LEG(13) onto the REAR BRACE(12) a s shown in the illustration a nd secure with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS(M8x1.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 9 BUTTON PIN(19) STEP 9 Insert the PULLEY POST(36) into the REAR WOODEN PLA TFORM(14) a nd secure with SOCKET BOL T(M10x1.5x35mm)(57). Insert the PULLEY SETS(38) through the PULLEY SP ACERS(39) a nd the PULLEY POST(36) a nd secure with ADJUSTMENT K NOBS(40) a nd ARC W ASHERS(M8)(70).
10 ROPE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT The ROPES(41) feed through the PULLEY SETS(38) then thread through the loops on the underside of both outer edges of the CARRIAGE(25). PLASTIC SNAP HOOKS(42) on the end of ea ch rope are used to adjust the ROPE(41) length. If more length is needed, atta ch the PLASTIC SNAP HOOKS(42) to loop D.
11 FORW ARD POSITION PIN SLOT Support Bra cket OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTION HEAD REST ADJUSTMENT The HEADREST(32) on the CARRIAGE(25) ca n be positioned flat or at a n incline by simply pivoting the support bra cket underneath the HEAD REST(32). FOOTBAR ADJUSTMENT The FOOTBAR(17) ca n be positioned at three a ngles.
ST ORAGE Store the AeroPilate s Pro XP556 in a clea n, dry pla ce. It is recommended that two people be available to move the AeroPilate s Pro XP556. T o move the AeroPilate s Pro XP556: First, atta ch one of the TENSION CORDS(29) in the slot on the COR D HOLDER(21) to prevent the CARRIAGE(25) from moving.
13 CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been in a ctive for several years or are severely overwe ight, start slowly a nd increa se your workout time gra dually . Increa se your workout intensity gra dually , too, by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise.
14 W ARM-UP a nd COOL-DOW N W arm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body f or exercise a nd to minimize in juries. W arm up for two to f ive minutes bef ore strength-training or aerobic exercising. Perf orm a ctivities that raise your heart rate a nd warm the working muscles.
