10 INTRODUCTION About the GH3210 The GH3210 is a 2.4GHz Cordless Phone with Caller Identifier . It is designed and engineered to exacting standards for reliability, long life, and outstanding performance.

12 Desk or T able Installation 1. The GH3210 base unit has built-in wall mount hanger holes. There is no bracket to assemble. Simply take the base unit out of the box. 2. Plug the AC adaptor(A) cord into the 9V DC-500mA input jack on the Base unit. 3.
Extra Charger Installation 1. Plug the AC adaptor(B) cord into the 9V DC-100mA input jack on the charger unit. 2. Plug the AC adaptor into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
14 Wall Mounting 1. If using a standard wall plate, this step is not necessary. Place the Desk/ Wall bracket on the wall and mark the location of the screws. Install the screws leaving 3/16" extending out from the wall. Use anchors to secure screws.
Handset Battery Charging The battery pack in the handset must be fully charged for about 10-14 hours before using the telephone. After connecting to AC power , leave the handset unused in the cradle for ten to fourteen hours. Later, it will take less time for the battery to recharge.
16 Handsets ID Registration 1. After base unit installation has been finished, place the handsets on the base and charger and make sure each handset is charged for 10~14 hours. NOTE: The handset which has been charged at the external charger must be placed on the main base unit for about 5 seconds to make proper ID registeration.
SETUP HANDSET T o Set Contrast 1. Press MUTE/PRG button to select “CONTRAST **”. 2. Press the or button to adjust display contrast to the desired level. The unit will show the default Time/date eg(12:00AM 1/01). 3. Press MUTE/PRG button to confirm.
18 T o Set Area Code 1. Press MUTE/PRG button to select “AREA CODE”. 2. Simply enter your area code number using the number pad on the handset. 3. Press MUTE/PRG button to confirm. T o Set T one/Pulse Mode 1. Press MUTE/PRG button to select “TONE/PULSE MODE”.
Digital Security System Y our GH3210 Cordless T elephone is equipped with a digital security coding system to protect your base unit from be- ing accessed by other cordless telephones. Th e code allows your base and handset to recognize each other so that other cordless phones will not make calls on your line.
20 Making a Call 1. If one handset is in use, the other hand- set will display “LINE IN USE” for 3 sec- onds when T ALK button is pressed. 2. Lift the handset and press the T ALK button to be connected to the phone line. The LCD display will show “T ALK” and the T ALK timer will start.
Conference 1. Press the CONF button while in T ALK mode. 2. The LCD display of the called handset will show “CONFERENCE”. The called handset will ring for 15 seconds. 3. Press CONF or T ALK button from the called handsets to establish conference which makes 3-way conference call.
