48 Replacing the Lamp Replacing th e Lamp The lamp u sed for the light sou rce has a certain lifes pan. When the lamp dims, the color bala nce of the pict ure becomes strange, or “Pl ease replace the Lamp. ” appears on t he screen, the lamp may be exhausted.
