25 Hookup s and Settings Step 3: Connect ing the Au dio Cord s/HDMI Cor d Select one of the following patt erns, A or B , according to the in put jack on your TV monitor, proje ctor, or au dio com ponent such as an AV ampli fier (rec eiver) . This wil l enable you to listen to sound.

27 Hookup s and Settings Step 5 : Connec ting the Mains Lead Connect the su pplied mains le ad to the AC IN ter minal of th e re corder . Then plug the record er and T V mains le ads (AC p ower cords) in to the mains. After you con nect the mains lead, you must wait for a sho rt while be fore oper ating the rec order.

83 Erasin g and Editing Erasing and Ed iting a Title This sectio n explains the basi c edit functions. Note that e diting is irrevers ible. To edit DVD-RWs/DVD-Rs (VR mode) without changi ng the orig inal record ings, create a Playlist title (p age 87).
