Playin g Discs 31 Notes o n playing DT S sound trac ks on a CD • When playin g DTS-encoded CDs, excessive no ise will be he ard from t he analog stere o jacks. To avoid possible damage to the audio sys tem, the con sumer shou ld take prop er p recaut ions when the analog stere o jacks of the play er are connect ed to an amp lif i catio n sys tem.
32 Resuming Playback from the Point Where Y ou Stopped the Disc (Resume Play) When yo u stop the di sc, the player remembers the po int where you presse d x and “ RESUME ” appea r s on the front pan el displ ay.
Playin g Discs 33 Using the DVD’ s Menu Some discs have a “ title menu ” or a “ DVD menu. ” On some DVDs, this may simply be called a “ menu ” or “ titl e. ” A DVD is divid ed into long sectio ns of a picture o r a m usic featu re called “ titles.
